The Client

Tribute Companies is a family of companies that develop, construct and manage residential real estate communities in North and South Carolina.

The Challenge

When Tribute Companies wanted to change their name, they asked Tayloe/Gray to help bring it to life. After a comprehensive review of their existing assets and properties, we recommended that a full-scale rebrand was in order. We delivered a unified brand, a robust, mobile-friendly website, new logos for all of their properties and a suite of signage, promotional and collateral materials.

The Results

Our full-scale rebrand of Tribute Companies positioned them as a high-end option in apartment living. Tayloe/Gray's efforts helped focus the Tribute marketing and elevate their status to better compete with large-scale companies in the region. Additionally, a cohesive brand was applied to all Tribute communities, reducing renter confusion and raising engagement and awareness of the family of companies.

Branding

Beginning with research and competitive analysis, we helped change the name from Biltmark to Tribute Companies. T/G was able to serve as a partner to create a suite of new logos and apply them to a brand structure that completed their vision of a unified family of businesses.

Technology

Each division of Tribute had different needs and goals, so the T/G design and development teams worked to create 3 distinct websites. The Companies website was aimed at investors, the Construction website at partners and subcontractors, and the Properties website at potential apartment residents. The Tribute Properties website was built with a custom Yardi/Rent Cafe software integration, ensuring the site communicated with the Tribute Properties internal leasing infrastructure.

Marketing

Our marketing team focused on building a suite of tools, from collateral to signage, designed to reach potential residents. These efforts not only maintained brand consistency, but could also be customized for each individual property's marketing needs.
