Last weekend we travelled out to San Diego for MivaCon 2015, an annual three-day ecommerce event with hard-hitting keynote presentations from experts and trailblazers in the industry. Created to discuss the latest trends and technology for ecommerce web development, the convention ends with an awards ceremony that recognizes outstanding websites on the Miva Merchant platform.
Known as the Blades, this award is the high form of flattery in the Miva ecommerce field. Our clients, Eagles Nest Outfitters Inc. and liquidlogic Kayaks, each received Best Website nominations for Enterprise and Small Business class categories, respectfully. “Eagles Nest and liquidlogic are outstanding outdoor industry websites, and we are thrilled to have both sites nominated for the MivaCon 2015 Blades Awards,” stated Nathan Tayloe, COO and Partner.
As it turns out, we won big! We are excited to announce a Blades win for the development of ecommerce website, liquidlogic Kayaks. The website is the 2015 MivaCon Blades Award winner for the Best Website Small Business Class. Developed on the Miva Merchant platform, liquidlogic’s new website provides consumers a visually appealing, highly functional, and easy to use shopping experience.
Through a partnership with Cgray, we developed a liquidlogic’s site using a combination of the Miva ecommerce infrastructure and WordPress. The new website is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices.
