We’re pretty chuffed over here. Tayloe/Gray was named Best Employer in North Carolina by Business North Carolina for 2021. In fact, we ranked 5th statewide in the small business category, with this year’s award winners selected on submissions and employee ratings of workplace culture, benefits, and incentives.
How it started.
Pandemic restrictions meant radical changes for how people do business, ourselves included. Our office and workflow had to change, and fortunately, Team T/G was able to shift to remote work with barely a hiccup. Many of our clients had to pivot the way they work too, sometimes repeatedly as conditions changed – so we evolved alongside them. T/G’s flexibility and durability mean we do not falter. We’re committed to high-quality work, which requires great client rapport and strong team collaboration (no matter the circumstances).
Over the past 15 months, our all-star team has grown and proven its ability to deliver top-quality work from home (although we love our amazing workspace, especially the game room). We’re in a great location, and location matters. Downtown Wilmington is fun, lively, and full of restaurants, bars, and shops. Within five minutes of our office are more than twenty-five dining options, a river boardwalk, bookstores, bars, and breweries, along with theaters. We should also mention the numerous beaches within a twenty-minute ride. Not to brag (well, maybe a little) – but we live and work in an amazing place.
How it’s going.
As an agency, we place a lot of focus on purposeful marketing – utilizing creative branding, design, and cutting-edge technology solutions to drive real results. However, Tayloe/Gray wouldn’t exist to help clients thrive in their industries without the team of experts we are lucky enough to have on staff. We have 20 rockstars here, and they all play different instruments. When we come together, sparks fly.
Making sure our employees are happy and healthy is key to our agency’s continued success. We want our team members to grow professionally, but not at the sacrifice of family or happiness. We work hard. And we also have personal lives, families, and as much fun as possible when we get together. Personal and professional growth matter at Tayloe/Gray, and we are grateful that Business North Carolina recognizes our efforts to attract and retain the greatest team of individuals ever assembled.
We’re hiring. Join our herd.
Despite the pandemic – 2020 was a successful year at T/G with growth continuing into 2021. We made some big changes these past few years, and we aren’t finished yet. Our leadership team is focused on creating a workplace that doesn’t feel like a grind; fostering fun and fellowship (even while we were all remote) and continuously expanding benefits plus performance bonuses. With 12 years of making “Awesome” happen for our clients, Tayloe/Gray is a place where you can have a long career.
