Tayloe Gray Launches New Website for DryCASE

WILMINGTON, NC, July 23, 2014 – Tayloe Gray (TG), a full-service digital marketing and creative services agency, today announced the launch of a new website for the Wilmington-based manufacturing company DryCASE. Founded by Wilmington locals Dr. Roy Archambault and Corey Heim, DryCASE specializes in products for waterproof protection of smartphones and tablets, along with waterproof accessories including headphones, backpacks and sport bags.

“Our team met the project with a strong focus on increasing revenue through a better overall user experience,” said Nathan Tayloe, TG Partner and CTO. “Fewer customers today wait until they get home in front of a computer to research or purchase a product, so we created the new DryCASE as a fully-responsive eCommerce site, with dynamic layouts to serve any device accessing the site, whether a traditional computer, smartphone or tablet.”

TG’s team conducted extensive usability testing, following every step of the process from discovery to purchase. According to Tayloe, “This really gave us the opportunity to see potential loss points, any sort of speed bump that could get in the way of a user ultimately making a purchase. We all hate waiting in line at the supermarket, and creating a smooth and seamless transaction is key to the success of the new DryCASE website.”

TG tested both design and usability through a “soft launch,” making select portions of the website live before the complete overhaul to monitor actual user reactions, purchases, and cart abandonment. Tayloe says this method allows for instantaneous passive feedback from actual DryCASE customers. “Working closely with our Paid Search department, we’ve been able to test various product landing pages to find the best conversion rates. So far we have met all of our goals, and the numbers are looking promising.”

The new DryCASE website gives users access to more detailed and up-to-date information on all aspects of DryCASE products. New features include a more efficient checkout process, smoother site navigation on any device thanks to the fully responsive design, and improved administrative functionality, enabling DryCASE to make immediate updates with ease each time a new product is released or an existing product is updated.
