The Client

Redix has been a staple of Wrightsville Beach since 1969. It’s the first stop for vacationers, known for being the go-to store for beach supplies and apparel. Redix has served the Wrightsville Beach community for over half a century, providing everything from beach gear to in-house branded apparel.

The Challenge

Redix needed an e-commerce platform that was not only easy to update in-house but also provided an enhanced user experience (UX). The challenge was to integrate a seamless inventory management system to keep online and in-store stock levels consistent in real time. Additionally, due to popular demand, Redix wanted to promote their in-house apparel line with high-quality product photos and feature these prominently on their site.

The Results

Tayloe/Gray’s team delivered a fully redesigned e-commerce website built on the Shopify platform, tailored to meet Redix’s specific needs. The new site boasts a superior UX, allowing customers to navigate through products and make purchases easily.

We integrated a robust inventory management system, ensuring that online sales reflected actual inventory and updated the stock in real-time for their point-of-sale system. Our team also designed a user-friendly backend, enabling Redix staff to update products and analyze user metrics effortlessly. To enhance the site’s visual appeal, our in-house studio captured high-quality photos of Redix’s branded products.

The T/G design team created a new fresh logo for the website. We also used fun and refreshing colors to enhance the already established brand.

When we were asked to create a new website for Redix our design staff decided to pay tribute to the legacy this brand has at Wrightsville Beach. Since they have been around since 1969 we created a new look a feel that has a fun and retro feel. You will notice the filters on the lifestyle photography as well as the colors we used for the site.
