Maya Angelou said, “People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Nikki is a wonderfully palliative presence at Tayloe/Gray. Wielding a powerful mixture of calm kindness and persistent industry, Nikki tackles every task that we can reasonably throw at an intern.

While she spends the bulk of her time working alongside Social Media Superstar, Katie Solinski, Nikki has been eager to help the entire team at Tayloe/Gray. Nikki’s consistent positivity are absolutely infectious. Her zeal for life and living stir the enthusiasm of even the most jaded Gen Xers on our staff.

Originally from Wisconsin, though she’s been in Wilmington since grade school, Nikki exhibits the diligence of a midwesterner tempered by the easy kindness of a Wilmingtonian. She is decidedly creative without bluster or overconfidence. She’s diligent and conscientious without being controlling or severe.

One might ask why we describe her as hard-working. She plays volleyball and soccer, is presently attending UNCW to complete her bachelor’s degree in Communications having received her Associates Degree from CFCC, while she also works at a spot of gastronomic renown known as The Cast Iron Kitchen (try the Chicken and Pancakes) where she handles the social media among other duties, and, finally, serving as an intern here with the Experts in Awesome. So, in addition to the other ways she makes us feel, she also makes us feel like lazy people.
