"The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else." - E.E. Cummings

Get ready to smile. This is Amy Fun. Seriously. Never mind what it says above. You can email amy.fun@tayloegray.com, and she will receive the message. We have not checked her birth certificate, so it might be a nickname provided by her husband, Kirk.

Amy is a bundle of joy. We assume she has always been a bundle of joy. A safe bet would be that the words were spoken about her by every teacher that taught her, every doctor that saw her, and even the nurses caring for her in the hospital after birth.

She is not just kind. Amy loves a good time. She enjoys good pens, adventures, and being a sunny spot in everyone’s day. Spreading joy is her personal mission and it doesn’t happen by accident. Amy chooses to make a positive impact through kindness, consideration, and intentionality.

A Cincinnati native, Amy earned her BS in Advertising and minored in Marketing at the David Letterman School of Journalism and Strategic Communication. Following college, Amy put her degree to good use — accumulating 10 years of experience as an Account Manager before Tayloe/Gray was lucky enough to get her on board.

In October 2016, Amy and her husband took their boat (and a cat) from Wrightsville Beach down to Islamorada, Florida where they dropped anchor and made it their home for a year. They’ve also had numerous RV adventures. In 2022, they upgraded to a Class A motorcoach so they could have their nomadic escapades in comfort and style. Her favorite destinations for such trips are Moab, Utah, the Florida Keys, and Crested Butte, Colorado.

Amy isn’t just an adventurer. Oh no. She needs to have more fun than scheduled, vacation adventuring permits. When she isn’t sailing up and down the east coast, or off on a new journey in her spacious recreational vehicle, Amy finds other ways to have a good time: pickleball, golf, yoga, bocce, ping pong, sports, new restaurants, and live music. She highly recommends two musical venues: Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, and Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington.
