America’s choice for precision logistics. MegaCorp is a renowned concierge logistics company founded in 2009, specializing in full truckload, less-than-truckload, and intermodal shipments throughout the U.S. & Canada.

The Challenge

Despite its success and strong brand presence in local markets, MegaCorp aimed to further grow its business by launching a revamped website that reflected its leading position in the logistics sector. The objectives were to expand its network by attracting new shipper partnerships, showcasing its unique attributes to retain and attract broker talent, and maintaining strong carrier relationships. Additionally, MegaCorp sought to increase brand awareness and optimize core business values to strengthen its brand.

The Results

Our team at Tayloe/Gray leveraged in-depth research from strategic planning exercises to create a structured plan for the new, expanded website. The result is a meticulously designed and well-organized digital doorstep with custom features and seamless navigation for users on both desktop and mobile devices.

Design / Branding

Our creative team expertly restructured the navigation and drafted new content for a more cohesive layout, enhancing user experience and efficiency. Building on the refreshed color palette, our web designers introduced new graphic motifs and elements to provide a web presence that felt as big as MegaCorp is in the marketplace. Emphasis was placed on viewer engagement — the use of interactive carousels and sub-navigations entice the user to engage with the content and support telling the MegaCorp story in a guided manner.

While the client did not require a new logo or brand identity, they were open to refreshing their existing color palette. Our creative team provided additional color options, including a brighter green selected by the client, complementing their existing palette and helping them stand out in the marketplace.

Technology

The development process involved a comprehensive overhaul. Custom developed, the new site provides the client with a modular templating system in which layout sections can be selected and customized for streamlined management of existing content. This structure also makes it easier to create new page layouts and iterate on existing page layouts. Lastly, a custom API implementation was developed, for both the Job Board and Job Listing data, utilizing the Greenhouse platform API with custom filtering for Location and Departments.
